Happy Halloween!

This is my second Halloween out of Pgh! Yay!

Things to do on Halloween eve and Halloween night when you are a million states from your parental units:

1.Watch Sleepy Hollow starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci and possibly Shawn of the Dead (mother would snicker about the death and gore)
2. Dress up as Charlie Brown as a ghost from It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (listen to ridicule on the phone about hiding your beautiful face and hair with a sheet)
3. Make Halloween cookies (you never would have done that at home!)
4. Decorate your office (you've never had an office before and were allowed to decorate it)
5. Decorate your boss's office door- because she's not there until January (because you can!)
6. Wear a It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown T- shirt, even though it's 7 degrees outside (Seriously)and even though it's long sleeved. (Mother would tell me to tuck my shirt in- but it's out! Ha ha!)
7. Get paid the day after Halloween (gots to pay da bills)
8. Tell people in their Halloween shirts and costumes that they look cute, and really try to mean it. (Really, though it is hard)
9. Take care of a sick husband at home (perfect--to kill my fun)
10. Make ghostly shepherd's pie for dinner (recipe at bettycrocker.com)
11. Hand out capri- suns as treats (Mother criticized that those poor kids will have heavy bags from things like that- but I rebuttled in saying that cool stuff like cans of pop and capri suns are what the kids like and they remember who gave it- they don't care about the weight!I was a kid once- I know these things!)
12. Watch stupid local commercials for Halloween that are just so bad you have to turn away from the TV because you can't even laugh at them (yes they ARE THAT BAD)
13. Making goofy lists to help vent anger on a holiday
